Six first productions of new works, which were realised anywhere in the world since July 2018 were selected by a jury made up of internationally renowned theatre makers from five continents, who also suggested the artists for the residencies that are awarded in cooperation with the City of Munich.
All teams receiving an invitation to the MTNow Meeting at O. Festival Rotterdam in 2022, are eligible for hosting of their projects on the catalogue of TEATRIX MX streaming platform, based in México (royalties paid based on number of viewers).
For its edition in January 2022 the Prototype Festival New York is also inviting a production to its digital program, which has been chosen by their board of directors from the list of applications for the MTNow competition.
