Background / Biographies
Bernhardt Herbordt and Melanie Mohren
are graduates of the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen. They cooperate to create interdisciplinary spatial and audio installations, radio plays and theatre works in which both operate as directors, authors, producers and sound/ video designers. They have received many grants and prizes for their work. Herbordt and Mohren live in Hamburg.
Hannes Galette Seidl
studied composition with Nicolaus A. Huber, Th. Neuhaus and Beat Furrer. He has written for solo instruments, ensembles, live electronics and tape music. He has created his works with numerous well-known ensembles. In 2002, together with Maximilian Marcoll, he founded the electronic duo dis.playce; they perform regularly. He is also co-founder of stock11.de – Label für aktuelle Musik. He has received numerous awards and grants.
